Features that the people would like added 1.03 or 1.04

NOTE: These are not gameplay changes!

Being able to Pick starting locations OR the features "IsHomePlanet" and "Owner" working correctly so that custom made maps have players start with the "Owned (Owner)" Planet (IsHomePlanet).

Remember this seeing what the community wants between small updates. If you really want to change something major/drastic in the game, look into modding it in.

I would like to see more units, maybe a planet killer. I dont really know. I really like galactic civilization. I love the customibility of the units in that game, would be interesting if you could do that in this as well. Also maybe have weapon upgrades to the smaller units, I know there are some but that would go along with the customizing too.

I would like there to be more biuldings, like maybe able to create spy satilites, assalt drones, not just the ones that the repair ship creates but ones that you could make at a planet and send them off to attack other works or use them as probes in them selves. Also would be nice to send a construction ship to the astroyds and construct diffences or a trading post. Also more veriety in the difference area.

More planet improvements would also be nice, maybe constructing diffences on the plenat that can shoot up into space for instance.

Just the most I would like to see is more customisation. I know that would make the game way more complex but I am getting tired of playing single stratagy games that there is only one way to really play them. Sure the main goal is always the same to kill of your enemies but if i could do it in my own style that would be awesome.

Keep up the good work though, do love the games you are making.

Pirate Economy Created! At least a flegdling version of it. I know you guys have said its on the drawing boards. The pirates are rather stupid and predictable. I love the concept but it needs to be fleshed out.

oh and more fleet management options. Id like to be able to designate some real substructure to my fleets rather then needing to creat several fleets and then put them all under one Ctrl group.

One feature that I would like to see is the ability to double click a particular ship when zoomed into a particular gravity well and select all ships of the same type within that gravity well.

Like I posted in the other topic:

The AI needs a tune-up so that they work as a team, build balanced fleets and maximized economies, capture asteroid fields and other non colonizable areas, and generally be harder to beat (I'm playing multiple Hard-mode AI's at the same time atm, and even that's way too easy). And yes, make them surrender! I hate spending 2 hours cleaning up AI opponents who are already doomed.

Also, add more game speeds. There should be a game speed called "arcade" or something to that effect in which the ship speeds are a little faster than fast mode and the research times, antimatter cooldowns, and resource-gathering rates are drastically faster. That way, huge multiplayer matches can still take place in a reasonable time frame - say, like 2 hours.

Add more logistics! I'm always at the fleet cap by like the middle of my games, and I can't spread my fleet wide enough to protect all my colonies by endgame, so the game really turns into a steamroll-fest with the small unit cap.

More personality. I know it's not Galciv, but a little bit of personality would go a long way with this game. It's just not very...entertaining, I guess you could say. Random events would add an element of unpredictability that the game sorely needs. It's my OPINION that we have a very solid engine here, with tons of potential. It just needs to be fleshed out a bit to add to the fun factor. ...ok, so maybe that's more like an expansion than a patch.
