I've been following this game like most others here for quite a while, and jumped at the chance to get it the day it came out via stardock's digital download service.

Now I'm plagued with CTDs...was working fine at first then once crashed it seems like the last few saves are corrupt (shades of Civ 3?).

Specs are as follows:

E6600 running stock, not oc.
Gigabyte P965-DQ6
4 GB Corsair PC-6400 XMS2
Evga 8800 GTX
Fatal1ty X-Fi FPS
PCP&C 700W PS
Vista Ultimate x64

Latest drivers for all of the above.

I just downloaded the KB for virtual RAM recommended at a recent post. Any suggestions? Gone are the days where I create another partition for XP just to play a game. Last did that with Lotro before Nvidia 8800gtx drivers for Vista stabilized, not going through that again. This definitely isn't my first time around this particular rodeo - as I grow older, my inclination to jack with settings/drivers/OS/ini files to the nth degree fades. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
