One Feature that could guarantee Sins' perfection...

The one thing that I can think of that would make Sins perfect would be the incorporation of a download manager for mods and maps built into the ICO interface. It would let you explore and download any maps/mods posted (and approved) in the mod database.

I mean, does anyone actually know if this would be doable? I think this would be a huge boost to the modding/map making community. It would ensure that their material would get high exposure/importance in the game and make it ridiculously easy for the technically challenged/lazy to get new material.
Consumers love stupid proof things.

End of quote

when your ships stop while fireing... order them to move... they will still fire at targets in their arc... then they will turn to regain arc... them order them to move again... if you wanted to order your fleet in formation to attack another fleet in formation and watch them swirl around each other automaticaly... oh wait... thats the Gal Civ 2 Engine!! i think thats why they used the Homeworld RTS engine... so you could give them real time orders... like... move! or turn this way... you want strafing? then they get to firing range order them to move forward. at the end.. they will turn around... and tell them to do it again...

moving seems to work like in HW. They prefer to sit, but if you give them move orders, they will still fire

There is no such thing as perfect. Even if we all agreed on the feature set, there would ALWAYS be a way to improve.
