Windows MCE and Windows Blinds

I've read some post about ppl wondering about MCE and how everything works.
I built 2 separate towers and a custom laptop and have most of these programs installed. The towers have XP Pro on them and all the programs work fine. The laptop is running windows MCE 2005 and it has some issues.

The laptop is in no way under powered.
I'm running an AMD 3700+ with 2GB ram and a 160GB HDD

Object Dock works perfect with no issues what so ever

Icon Packager seems to work all though it has it glitches.
Not all of the system icons change with some packages but its nothing major, at least it still works right?

Cursor XP seemed to cripple the OS.
Everything ran incredibly slow and I was forced to uninstall it.

Boot Screens and Log Ons work just as good.
Both have some minor issues. Most of the boot screens run fine with a few that just don’t line up right. And same with the logons

My major issue is with WINDOWBLINDS

I have a few older versions and just tried Windowblinds6
The only thing that happens when I load a skin is that it reverts back to Windows Classic style. It also seems to lock up my system sometimes and it will give me a menu saying it needs to take up more processes to run. But it doesn’t seem to work at all.

I have windowblinds 4 on the towers with XP PRO and it runs like a champ.

Is anyone else having issues with Windowblinds on XP MCE???

Is the version of WB you are trying to run on the laptop a trial version? From what you describe that's what will happen when the trial period is up.

IronLungMiami have you had and other trial versions loaded? If so that maybe the problem. If so were they on this laptop? You might want to make sure there are no other versions of WB on the laptop. Also the problem maybe tied to the trial version and your IP address. I think Stardock may track you and trial downloads, not sure, don't quote me on that.
