Hello all, first off I would like to say that this game is a breath of fresh air. I have been enjoying it immensily and tip my hat off to Stardock/Ironclad. It's so nice to see the devs actually interacting with thier customer base which will help make this game even better.

My suggestion stems from a FPS problem I am having when at the main menu. When I am at the menu screen which does a flyby then zooms in on a close up view of a planet in the background I start to have severe FPS problems, so much that my mouse jumps around when I move it. Now I realize the main problem is I have a terrible video card, which doesn't even meet the requirements(gforce 5500) but in pretty much every other area of the game it runs fine, only when I zoom in on planets do I get this extreme FPS decrease. My suggestion would be to either have an option that removes the close up view of the planet on menu screens or maybe make the default zoom level farther out. Personally I love the look of how it is now but it puts a giant strain on my PC.

I realize that most people probably don't have this issue because they actually meet the system requirements and I don't expect devs to put forth time and effort to make a "fix" that would only help out a small percent of thier playerbase when they have other stuff they could improve upon but I just thought I would throw this out there in hopes of it getting looked at.
