Ships get stuck in Asteriod Field

I send my fleet into an Asteriod Field and instead of landing on the outskirts they get stuck right in the middle and are then stuck and I can no longer use them in my game, I am not sure if I am missing something since I can't find any posts on this topic. It has happen to me quite a few times now and is getting annoying. Please help.

Sounds like a bug--if you have a saved game with stuck ships, please send it to [email protected] with a description of the problem and where to find it in the save.

I have the same problem. Did not happen with Version 1.0 , started with 1.02.

For example, the Fire+Ice Map doesn't have the Problem in 1.0 but it has in 1.02.

It is not restricted to Asteroid Fields, it does also happen with planets. After playing a new game for a while, I search for my Scouts and find them in the center of a planet and can't move them anymore. Happens to every ship which jumps to that planet (AI players also).

It happens to me allt the time, Almost always in the pirates home base, and that i can live with, but earlier it happened in a game on the "gateway" scenario. Every ship i sent in except the fighter and bomber squadrons got stuck in the planet called gateway. They phased into the middle of the planet, and when told to move "snapped" out of the planet, but still wouldn't move, attack, or anything.

I am having this problem too, I am really sick of it. The game is completely unplayable as EVERY game I play this happens on one planet or other, pirate base ALWAYS has this problem. Its a really poor show, I really like the game but after playing several games for hours then to have this disable my entire fleet is so damn frustrating. Until this bug is sorted I cant play the game.... ....GRRRRRR

I will also add it seems to be particularily bad on my custom made maps.

Its the same for me, and its not from saved games. I have repeadtly tried new games and it happens in those as well. Like Big Bramble has said I can no longer play the game until this bug is fixed.

The same thing happens to me except it is not always an asteroid field. Sometimes it is a planet. It just happened in ver 1.02. There is always one planet where when a ship enters it snaps to a location and cannot move afterwards. It can continue to fight and send fighters or bombers but cannot move from the location around the planet. it is not just my ships, it also occurs to pirates and enemy ships. I have used this bug to trap pirates by setting a large bounty on the enemy that was located behind the trap planet. The pirates get to that planet and get stuck. After the first time the pirates keep trying to get get the enemy and keep getting stuck.
It is possible to win just make sure that you dont send any more ships into the trap field.
