Fix the Forge

Is anyone able to confirm/deny if it will be allowed to dictate which point players start at? Kind of tough to setup maps based on lore if you cant say who starts where!

I dont think theyre done adding features to it yet. I think they pushed a release due to increasing demand :)

I know..but its this ONE feature that me (and a lot of other modders) need to make some of these scenarios for mods come to life!

Fixed starting locations is indeed the ONE feature I would like to see.

I strongly feel that there is no real point to creating maps with no fixed start locations. Frankly, I don't really even like playing on maps that don't have fixed start locations, but this game is so great that I've put up with it.
Please Stardock, this is IMO the #1 concern that anyone who wants to tweak this game is going to have.

I'd prefer for it to be able to competently update maps to be friendly with the current version of Sins, fist of course (which is to say, I do see your point). This feature is nice, but I practically went nuts trying to find my galaxy in game after 4 hours of work on it. Also, the map is inverted on the Z axis from how I designed it... so that bug might need work too

I know that you can make fixed starting locations for team-based maps, but not for fixed-start FFAs.

We need a new version of GalaxyForge anyway so that it can work with the 1.03 maps, because something has obviously changed.
