When will Vancouver (Canada) get more Collector's Edition..>?

Maybe if I show up to Ironclad Games in Vancouver, they can sell me a copy. I've been to my local Futureshops and EB Games, but they all said that they've ran out and currently do not know when they'll get more of the Collector's Edition in. Any ideas? I am from North Van.

I'm not aware of any stores in Canada stocking the Collector's Edition. But if anyone would be to know when they will get stock in, it should be the stores themselves.

As far as I know, there are no Canadian retailers selling the Collector's Edition.  Amazon.com is selling it, however.

You can order the CE edition box which will be mailed to you with $20 shipping and handling. It will take a while to get though, but you will have access to the digital download within 10 minutes of buying the game online. The download is about 1 gig.

I don't know about other one's but the ebgames in my area is supposed to be getting the CE in around the 23rd it's in B.C. so we should see in a couple days. :)

at least thats when they said the pre-order of it I have should be in might be why tho.

As the guy above just told you, if you order the game from stardock, you can get the physical box, they just charge you shipping and handling. Said physical box carries the hard coppies your looking for.

If you order online you have the option to have ALL the physical items mailed to you.
There is a good chance that a Canadian Retailer will be carrying the CE box in near future, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Sigh... Canada gets shafted, again. Just like the prices are higher than in the US, even though our dollar is on par or HIGHER than the US dollar at the moment. It's like people forget we even exist sometimes.

Craig, the problem with buying online is the SHIPPING, which is HIGHER for Canada than it is for the US. I understand that you're based in the states, but I also hope you can understand that it is very irritating that we have the option of paying an extra 50% for shipping for the CE or buying at around an extra 15-20% for non-CE even though our dollar equals yours. I just said screw it and went for digital download, it being the only way I didn't get screwed.

The rest of it was made available for download, but all the goodies are in the physical box as well. This way, those that pre-ordered the digital version of the game get their collectors edition goodies as well.

yea...i live in canada too...

the mail man brought the package yesterday (20 feb) and its « carton pack list » says that the ship date was 7 feb : 20-7 = 13 days !

it was not 'cause of canada customs : this time, they let the package slip in without charging their outrageous $ 5 processing fee + federal tax + provincial tax !!!!

but 2 things struck me as weird :

-- the box was a little big : it did not fit in our mailbox (we receive games by mail that have been inserted in smaller, tighter packages)

-- it cost $ 8.80 of « US postage INTL first-class » !!! woa...somebody at stardock has a lot of money to throw away ! we've received games from the US before by mail, and it never cost more than about $ 6 in postage (canada is not australia : was it necessary to spend so much cash to mail canadian neighbours a game ?!) (it's not a complaint : stardock is the loser here)

EB Games Canada will be carrying the Collector's Edition version in limited quantities. ;)
