It can be frustrating. We are based in Vancouver, BC, so I know what it is like to have Anything shipped from the states
End of quote
yea...i live in canada too...
the mail man brought the package yesterday (20 feb) and its « carton pack list » says that the ship date was 7 feb : 20-7 = 13 days !
it was not 'cause of canada customs : this time, they let the package slip in without charging their outrageous
$ 5 processing fee + federal tax + provincial tax !!!!
but 2 things struck me as weird :
-- the box was a little big : it did not fit in our mailbox (we receive games by mail that have been inserted in smaller, tighter packages)
-- it cost
$ 8.80 of « US postage INTL first-class » !!! woa...somebody at stardock has a lot of money to throw away ! we've received games from the US before by mail, and it never cost more than about $ 6 in postage (canada is not australia : was it necessary to spend so much cash to mail canadian neighbours a game ?!) (it's not a complaint : stardock is the loser here)
