Resource vanishes after a load?

My latest game i just uploaded, i had a military resource i was just exploiting, i saved, came back and loaded, and it had the starbase, but the resource had gone. (Yes im 100% it was there before! as i was planning to exploit it fully before attacking the arceans. As such i was waiting until its upgrades were complete.)

I only have a save game near the end of that game..200 turns later if its of any use.

Sorry the bugs and suggestions are too big for me to look through to see if its been reported before

I just checked my game and had the same thing 3 of resources are still there but the fourth one disappeared, was one of those yellow barrel looking things. Starbase sitting there doing nothing now.

Also noticed it takes a few turns till influence comes back after loading a save.

Had the same problem in my last game... lost an economic resource that way. And I was havin a hard enough time balancing the books before.

This happened to me once as well. After loading, one of my resources had vanished. I'm pretty sure the starbase that was sitting on the resource got downgraded as well.

Interestingly enuff, this confused the heck out of the AI. One of the AI players sent about 15 constructors to the location of my (now useless) starbase and they all just sat there in a big clump for the next 30 turns or so. It's as if the AI thought my starbase had vanished and the resource was still there, or something.

Yes Iskabis! The Resource that vanished on my game had 10-15 constuctors hanging around it, and even when i killed them all, the second i made peace another 15 made a beeline straight for it.

Hmm happened again. This time a Moral resource, saved, drove my g/f home came back loaded it up, and the resource vanished leaving just a starbase.

The disappearing resource thing is a known bug that hasn't been pinned down yet.

The issue with influence taking a while to return to previous levels is also a known issue that has not yet been fixed.

The "yellow barrel looking thing" is a morale resource :)

More info:

I just had a resource poof WITHOUT a load or save, one turn it was there and the next it was gone. Both myself and an opponent were sending starbases there when it disappeared. It was a military resource.

The funny thing about this is that the opponent was going after it earlier in the game and then just turned around and went back near the home planet and kept his constructor still for a few turns. This was the next to last unclaimed resource on the map.
