Audio Corruption Bug

I like to listen to Live 365 music streaming during the game. http://www.live365.com/stations/astreaux or something similar.

I discovered that when I started Galciv I could use the sound effects on and listen to the streaming as music background.

I expected some audio conflicts but for the most part it worked. Sometimes I would get a horrrible static noise during the diplomatic screens.

I have noticed that once I have started up Live 365 streaming on on my PC, even if I close it I still get the audio corruption onthe diplo screen. Its as if the MP3 player has been reset in my PC. Even if I restart Galciv, it still happens unless I reboot my PC. Thoughts.

BY the way, great game, great support, best 1 more turn game since Civ II, and best SF I have ever played!

Thank you for including this pleasure in my life.

The music on the diplomacy screen is also mp3, so you would be using 2 instances of mp3 player code at once, which we have found can be problematic. We ended up making it so that 2 mp3s wouldn't be playing at the same time in Gal Civ.
