Serial number issues

Whenever i try to log into stardock online it gives me the usual wrong version message, but i've tried to update and it keeps telling me my serial number is wrong when i try to register!

I am having the same problem too, i just bought the game and for some reason it is not accepting the serial number.

Where did you buy the game at? Hopefully it wasn't from Gamestop/EBgames. Pardon my language, but their most recent PC game policies are absolutely asinine. If you bought from them you should return the game and immediately demand a new unopened copy or full refund in your original form of payment regardless of what their policies are. They have been selling open PC games there because they don't want people to take the CD's, but it exposes the CD-key's which just makes the problem they're trying to prevent worse. Explaining the problem to that company is like talking to a brick wall. Your key may already be registered and that could be causing the problem.

Sins is selling like hotcakes around here so Gamestop/EBgames are the only ones who have enough stock left at this point. Definitely hold out and wait for a more responsible store to stock this game or order online.

If you are having issues registering your serial to your stardock account (as opposed to making an account for ICO), contact [email protected]. If you're having ICO issues, contact [email protected].

i've already contacted them, but the reply is taking forever! what's the normal wait time. i'm really starting to get anxious.

If you contacted Stardock support, you should at least have gotten an automated response immediately (if not, check your spam filtering). It is taking some time due to the large volume of support mails; they're working through them in the order they come in. Just refrain from mailing again (doing so anti-bumps your ticket, as the queue is sorted by least recent activity first) and they'll get to it.

If you did not get the automated responce then yes you should send another. Make sure that Stardock is in an exception list to spam.

Also if you want to try it here is the instructions from online to do a manual activation.

This won't work for everyone but it is worth a shot to be certain. If you get really stuck send in the error it creates to [email protected]. Copy the whole thing right into the email.

Same problem.

Installed the game. Wrong something or another error with the cd code. Tried registering it with Stardock. Said invalid serial number. Also, some problem with wrong version of Ironclad Online. Bought it at BestBuy. Said they would take it back for another copy, but seems like its a bigger problem(from other peoples posts).
Maybe Stardock should validate these CD keys(through e-mail) and serial numbers and allow people to download it from the site(?).

That means you need to update the game. 1.02 is available via the Updates button in the game.

Still saying wrong version of Ironclad online detected. Do you need to update the Ironclad online service?? and what is the website address. Also, where do you put the bonuspack download? (what file).

Working now :)! Able to play!! Now I need to play the single player until im comfortable enough to be called a noob.

You need to update the game via Stardock Central and then Ironclad Online works.

ok... this is really starting to make me angry.. im not getting a reply from stardock and i still can't play online and it's been a while.. im about to return the stupid game if i don't get some help asap

Lifelock there was a reply to your ticket back on the 20th of this month. I have resent it again. If you still don't get anything check your spam filters.

Hey I've been able to register with stardock, but can't do anything with ICO. I enter my information and hit to connect or create the account and nothing happens. It kind of goes grey and the only button I can hit is the cancel button. My game is updated with the latest patch. Does my stardock account function also as my ICO account? Either way when I try to use that name and password I get the same result.
