We gave the server a kick that handles these matters. If you are still having troubles I am digging through all our activation emails as we speak. Get to us at [email protected] and we will see to it as quickly as possible!

The Stardock Central route did not work for me. It said I was using an invalid serial number. I tried getting my serial numbers mailed to me, but I didn't have any in my account.

Punzki, make sure when you try to register with Stardock Central that you have Sins selected as the game to register. I just registered through it, and I ran into the same problem as you before I realized that it had a game other than Sins selected to be registered.

I'm still having troubles registering on the web page or through Stardock Central. I already mailed [email protected] yesterday though. Thanks for the help!

Oh wow... I never thought of that! It worked! I thought that right-clicking on Sins and then selecting Register Products would take me to the correct dialog. Didn't think I'd have to select from the drop-down list.

Thanks Unruly_Soldier!!! :D

Looking for an update to Sins of a Solar Empire? You've come to the right place. However, we have not detected a registration for the game under this account. If you have registered your copy of the game with a different account please logoff and re-logon using the account under which you have registered the game.

If you have not registered your copy of Sins of a Solar Empire, please use the form below by entering your serial number and clicking the register button. Upon a successful registration you will be able to download the latest updates.

Ok, I keep getting this message when I try to put my serial code in, I was wondering what I have to do to fix this. I've had the game since it pretty much came out, but just got around to trying to get it on-line. I've tried putting it in with the - and without the -'s but I still get the same message, if someone could help me it would be much apprectiated

Hey Darth. That is the same error that we've been getting the last couple days. You should be able to download Stardock Central, which is kinda like their version of Steam.

Stardock Central link

Install that then go to the My Games section. Right click on Sins of a Solar Empire and choose Register Product. The registration screen will pop up. Put your serial number in there, along with the email you already registered with, and make sure you change the drop down menu to "Sins", it defaults to "My Subscriptions" when you open the screen. Submit this and it should work. It sounds like everyone so far who tried this has succeeded.

** make sure to put the "-" in the serial number.

fyi to all, I got a reply saying the activation servers have been reset, and to try again, but I'm still having the same problem.

The response goes on to suggest using Impulse, http://impulsedriven.com/about.asp, which the email says is a replacement for Stardock Central. I haven't tried it yet, but I thought I'd pass the info along.

Same problem. I circumvented this using the Stardock Central link above but it was a really slow process! Hope they fix this soon!!

I have been trying to replicate this all day. We did kick the servers but in random places people still say they are having trouble. Is anyone that is having this problem using something other than Sins registration info?

ok quick question. whoever decided to put 0's and O's i serial numbers?! they are quite tough to distiguish when the lettering is that small. i mean, if you look hard enough you can just see that the zeros edges are straighter, but that's the only distinction. it bother's me a hell of a lot.

There are no Os in the serial numbers at all. All of the 0s are the number and never the letter.

They're all zeros. The serials are simply hexadecimal numbers, so they consist only of digits and letters A-F.

If any one is haveing trouble getting the patches just go to file front.com and u can download them from them. its even faster then the game hosts servers to.
