where are the custom maps stored??

i got this map i made an i wanna send it to someone but i cant find it anywhere, i cheecked the galaxies folder in the game directory its not there, it isnt anywhere i checked my whole hardrive i dont understand how it cant be anywhere an its in my game, how could that be possible?? anyone any clue?

Please note these directories may be Hidden by default. To unhide them, go to your Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View and set yourself to view hidden files and folders.

I've got vista, installed it to that folder, yet it doesn't come up on the game's map list when I try and create a game.

Any help on this?

Again, I've saved the map to both the core galaxy folder (where all the maps that come with the game are) as well as my users folder as described in this post, and I can not find the map in the game to load it.

If you have version 1.03 installed and the map was made using GalaxyForge, you'll have to edit the map file first (in Notepad) and change the line that says "version=0" to "version=1".
