I'm sure many are curious as to what exactly was in that last update. Could someone official post a little blurb? Thanks.

For future reference look in the Developers Journal section that's where they usually post the release notes.

The newest release came out. The link you have there is to 4C, which was the latest beta as of yesterday

Really, cool I'll have to check when I get home. I normally only check on a Thursday evening since they normal release between 10 and 11.30 pm on a Thursday (UK Time).
P.S. In that case I can't help.

The update that showed up earlier this week wasn't a real update, just an attempt to fix download issues with the server. We should be putting up another update tomorrow.

And is this "tommorow" update real or not?

Thanks to stardock's silly pseudo update the game is totally unplayable. I can only set up the game and after choosing options for races to play against as soon as I click on the "next" button to start the game it always crashes now. Next time just put a screensaver or a stupid text file on the servers for us to download to test it. I'm not the only one having this problem stardock. Check your new and "improved" beta and bug forum posts.

Wait until tomorrow, and go read a book.
My guess is that they did that intentionally just to show you..or maybe it was an accident.
Peace.

Meh, try living in Dubai - I have to wait until Friday to see anything, if the internet is even working (which is not as often as you'd think for a (hyper)modern city). Still, Fridays are local day off, so always have time to check out the latest. I'm crossing my fingers for offensive modules on Thalan starbases (assuming they're not in yet - at the stage my last Thalan game got too I hadn't found them, though Hyperion gave me kickass, if slighty pointless, defenses).

You know what? You're not helping by being bitter; all you've managed to do so far is piss me off. You CAN help by e-mailing GC2_Twilight.log and GC2_Twilight.xml from Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\Installed to [email protected]. If you updated any of the other modules at the same time, send in those files as well.
