How do I add a point in Basic Officer Training?

Hi everyone

Sorry for a noob question, but when I try to increase my capital ship commanders on the fleet logistics screen I keep getting a message saying I need 1 point in basic officer training, but I don't know how I get a point since I can't find anything in the research tree called basic officer training

It will be under the Fleet tab of the reseach menu, above the fleet logistics line.

There might be one of the previous ones that you haven't researched or queued up for research yet. This is assuming you're already on the Fleet Logistics Screen of the Research screens, as you seemed to indicate. Make sure you have already done all of the ones to the left of the one you're trying to do.

Basic Officer Training is the first Command rating tech for the TEC (the top row of techs on the Fleet Logistics section of the Technology screen).
