I don't mind the crashing ........ too much

 :CONGRAT: Every new version gets better. As long as I set the autosave to 1 that is. No more hanging but the screen goes ba-loooey(kind of like cga graphics) I have to alt-tab out ,close it in task manager and then if I want to go back in or  use just about any other program I have to reset it. Still .......  what a game!

1) Post debug.err, or the last few lines of it, after a crash, before going back into the game (as that creates a new/current debug.err which overwrites the old one). (Debug.err is in the appropriate folder in your My Games folder in My Documents.)

2) Download SmartException.

3) Are you running windowed mode or fullscreen? Try the other one and report back.

4) Did you say SLI? I seem to remember SLI not working with GCII, but I can't recall offhand. I'll look around, but someone else will probably get to commenting on it before I do.

wish I could now as it seems to lock up my machine solid. Need a cold boot to get back into xp. Running in full screen 1280 by 1024. The game I/m running is huge ,full opponents, no minors and on challenging. We are all preety teched out so there is alot going on. I suppose I could try turning off the SLI and going down on the video details. Good thing I have Acronis as these cold starts are getting me nervous!
