You beat me to it! I've been too busy working on my site's video Wiki tutorial...

I guess I'll have to 1-up you, and make a self-extracting installer program, that backs up the original music, before replacing it with the consensus best Homeworld song, for the user. ;)

I don't think I'd mind much! :D Let us know when you get it done!

I've also noticed that the Race-Specific songs NEED to be changed. If I hear that ridiculous TEC intro song one more time...

Awesome!! This includes Adagio For Strings? :D :D
Does this render online play impossible due to the changed files tough? I guess im about to find out :)

That is a good song, I just don't know where it would fit in here. Do you know of a good place to have it play? (For example: Battle Scene, Race-Specific Music, etc)

It's spelled "Adagio for Strings", not "Audigo of Strings"

Adagio is not in this file, I think you got your files mixed up. It plays some other opening file thing instead.

Ill have a batch file that replaces and backups your old files up soon. It also allows you to restore. These files should work with any sound mod just follow the directions included.
as a side note, whoever thinks command line in linux is hard as never tried reading a windows "help"(man) page.

zuff almost done just downloading your mod to test now. writing this in vista so should work for XP as well but tell me and I can see if theres any conversion problems. Like xcopy instead of robocopy and so on.

Do you want 4 separate bat files(2 restore, 2 backup) or just one that involves bat files parameters. To sum it up, how many of you know how to use the command line?

oops nvm lol just reread the original post.
