Question About Downloading SoaSE

Well, I've decided to buy it, and I've decided to buy it today. I wen't out to my nearest Wal-Mart, and checked the game section. No Sins of a Solar Empire.  There's a Microplay across the street, so I decided. Alright, I'll just cash in my sixty dollar gift card I was given for Christmas. And Bam: " I'm sorry, but we changed our policy's. Wal-Mart Customers are no longer aloud to exchange gift cards for cash, it must be spent here."  So I left, thinking of that being a stupid policy.  Across the street, it turns out Microplay closed half a hour before I left the Wal-Mart.

So now I say: Screw it, Digital Download here I come.


Now for the Question, if I do the digital download, the Key will be Emailed to me, and I can download it on my other computer to play LAN?  And does it take the information straight from my account? Or will it let me enter seperate information. As " Classified " Is obvioulsy a fake Last Name. Thanks for your time. ~Turioko

Once you've registered the game you can download it on any net-connected machine with SDC on it.

You will need to enter accurate details on the store (the store is separate from forum accounts for security). All that really matters on your forums/SDC account is that it is under the same email address as you use to buy on the store, so the serial will automatically register without support intervention. Though obviously using false details will make it much more difficult to recover your account in the future should you forget all the details.

Alright Thanks, my Email is real, and I realised that when I first entered false details. And thanks alot, this helped. And I don't have to worry about the Serial Code? Wohoo. Anyways, thanks for the quick reponse.
