No fonts in the game

when launching SoaSE through Steam

Well, I think the title says about it. When I launch the game through Steam, which I would like to do, for the InGame communication with friends, the game opens up like it should, but there are no fonts, anywhere. --ps--, sorry for pirating yarr game till now, just waiting for my money to get to PayPal now ^^

SoaSE doesn't work through steam.

I figured that out, but can't they make it work? I mean.. almost all games work fine through it.
