[Capital Ship Autocast issue & 1 Serious Suggestion]

I find that Vengeance & Animosity (taunt) works as a deadly combo. However is the autocast system smart enought to make my rapture cast vengeance on my radiance? According to my observaton, result seems negative. Guess manual is the way to go.

More importantly, is it that i'm missing it? Cuz I just Can't find a way to read the effects that's currently impacting my ships. Buff? Debuff? how can I tell? there's no Reading at all. If there really isn't anything in the gamesystem that tell the player about the current effects on the ship, this desperately needs to be added for high level gaming, and make it visible from the zoom out window for player to realize certain ships are being effected. Hope it's just me that couldn't find it...

It seems like the game only show stuff like dmgtaken/sec , damage propagation, shield restored per/sec in the info card, but NOT damage retaliation, i believe this is what's happening. Plz confirm , tks.

I've tested with several ships and abilities and It just doesn't show up in the status window.

You can see current effects on a ship by moving your curser over it, and looking at the status log on the right hand side of the screen. Just like with planets special abilities/effects - ships will list all effects they are under towards the bottom of the log.

As for your first question, the AI doesn't really execute ability combos in that sense at the moment.

The only time I trust my ships to autocast if I don't care about the ability. If I ever leave anything important like shield restore or emp on autocast it gets used in stupid ways.

A ship with venegance has a red note : damage retailation 40% (or 80% depending on level of the skill). That seeker obvisouly has not vengeance on it.

The seeker DO have Vengeance on it, do you see the firery animation on it?! And again, I manual casted the skill on that seeker myself and i took this screenshot myself, there's no need to debate whether there's venegance on that seeker or not.

What your're talking about is probly the red 40% in the Skill Discription. that's when the u mouse over the vengeance skill. If your're that confident, plz provide me a screenshot, can u at least try it before u comment on it?

in the card, at the bottom, it says things like "cant jump" or "damage reduced" or "damage retaliation" or "repairing hull X HP/sec" and things like that... its weird it isn't showing in your screencap.

The AI is retared when using abilities... it takes some experimenting to learn what needs to be set on auto, on what needs to be left off, or when to set things to auto... (set ion bolt to manual, when chasing an enemy capital ship that is dying set it to auto, as it can cast it much quicker then you can with the clunky targeting system, its hard to click exactly on a moving target with a moving screen)

can you provide me with a screen shot? plz, much appreciated. Cuz all my game only displays stuff such as shieldrestored/sec damage taken/sec damage propagation 8% etc etc...but NOT damage retaliation.

I've tried with all 3 computers of mine already, same result .
