Game crashes when I try to replace files.

When I tried to replace files from my original GameInfo folder with files from the tools folder that is in the downloads section of this forum, the game crashes.  CAPITALSHIP_TECHCARRIER.entity, PLANETMODULE_TECHORBITALGAUSSDEFENSE.entity, and PLANETMODULE_TECHORBITALHANGARDEFENSE.entity.  Game crashes with these files.  Is that a problem for everybody or what?  tried them with version 1.0.  The game works fine with other files though, like research, planetIce, and planetDesert.

You really shouldn't be replacing, and I'm willing to bet it's because you have 1.0 - update to 1.02 and it should work fine.

Sounds strange, but might I inquire as as to why you are replacing originals? Using the mod folders is a lot safer, and easier.

Edit: A whole 2 minutes ahead of me, damn, I must be getting slow in my age ;)

I have back-ups so its not really a hassle. I guess I need to patch so that the other files work w/o crashing game.
