Launching Sins through Steam?

Menus all screwed up?

Ok, I use Steam as my PC's all-encompassing game management platform, all the icons to all my games (including non-Steam ones) are accessed through Steam, makes everything very organized and very simple.

Well, I added the Sinsofasolarempire.exe file to my Stame games list, launched it, the intro cinematic started up, everything seemed fine.

But when I got to the main menu, all the text was gone! All the buttons were there and everything was fine but all the text was stripped from the menus, why is this? It works fine when I launch the game using Windows Games Explorer, but through Steam the menu is inexplicably messed up.

I'm running on Windows Vista Home Premium 64x, on hardware well exceeding the minimum requirements. Anyone know what's going on how to remedy this problem?

Thanks much.

Sins isn't supported on Steam :P Had several threads on this previously, and I don't believe IC/SD revealed any plans to make it compatible.

Actually, I figured out a way to do it. Instead of adding the "sinsofasolarempire.exe" file, add the Sins Launch exe file. Open that through Steam and it should work just fine.
