My copy came in the mail today... [Wrong Address]

I pre-ordered the game, and got the collector's edition in the mail today.

You can probally guess what happened. I look at the box, read that it was from stardock. Excited like a kid at Christmas, I opened the box. I proceed to careful remove the packaging to avoid damaging the product. There nicely tucked away was a box of "Sins of a Solar Empire" -- Collector's Edition... or so it might of been had it been addressed to me!

Instead, I was awakened from my peaceful nap to be shown that I got something in the mail. Since I was sleeping a few moments before, I was not wearing my glasses so I couldn't see what I got. I asked for my brother to bring it closer so I could see it, and I discovered that my game came in the mail. Then I asked why was my package opened by someone other than me, and I was informed that it had my brother's name on it instead of me.

My guess is that since I pre-order my copy using my brother's credit card (I didn't have my own), that someone made the mistake of addressing it to him instead of me. I'm looking at my e-mail the time of writing this post, and I've found the one with the title :

"A gift has been purchased for you with Stardock"

And it says 1 item of "Sins of a Solar Empire (CD-Preorder)" was purchased.

Anyhow, I thought I would bring this up so you guys didn't make the same mistake again.

Email [email protected] just in case.

Also be aware that even with only one game in the house the ULA says that you and your brother can use that one copy to LAN.

I will. Technically, me, my brothers, and the rest of my family live in the same house hold at this time (kinda crowded) so a mailing error wouldn't cause that much problems. However you can't expect everyone who bought this game the same way I did to have the same mailing address as the person who used another's person's credit card.
