Game crash after certian sound bit.

"Pirate raiders have departed!"

So, I've played maybe 15 games so far, and every single one crashes at the exact same spot. Once the Pirates are ready and the sound bit, "Pirate raiders have departed" plays, the game freezes. I can move the mouse, but nothing in the game responds. I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL out to the task manager and close the game.

Anyone else experience this or am I alone?

Any suggestions?
