New Playable Race: Pirate/Mercenary

This race is based on Pirate ships.

They race is called Mercenary. They use modified pirate ships. Their main power is the stolen Phase gate tech that lets them use the Return Armada ability to call in more standard pirate ships.

The pirates have a new carrier using the pirate medium mesh.

I have not had the time to test this mod as much as I did on the Phaser so I am adding it as Beta.

I will add a better read me and a merge mod directory soon.

The pirate/mercenary are not using new tech because they steal of hack everything they use.

I have created this mod and the Phaser to allow them to be easier to combine with other mods.

You can merge my Mod with any other. Please give me credit for my part and maybe a PM letting me know would be nice

At the top of the str file right under the TXT tag. Add 4 to the total there.

Got it! :)

What exactly does adding the number to the string do? , if i was to say add the phaser and the merc mod to the distant stars public beta what number would i add then?

yeah i mean other than the update problems, this is a fantastic side! But can i suggest that the pirates get their own capital ship? and it would have to be really expensive and totally rape everything else because its their only one

I have added the new 1.3 version and download link. I have not had the time to test them fully with 1.3. If there are any problems please let me know.

Its not even for regular Sins any more. It used an ancient Sins patch. Probably wouldn't be that hard of a mod to make though...
