Nunbers

Does anyone know where I can find actual numbers on what everything ingame does. It seems like SoaSE assumes that I know alot of stuff that I dont. For instance...what does a trade station do exactly? How fast does it do it? Is building more than 2 stations a waste? Does the distance between stations matter? Also, what is the exact affect of sheild mitigation? How do the numbers work? Is there an online manual?

Absolutely not. All ships have different rates of fire, which may be affected by technologies and abilites as well. Capital ships even have different fire rates for their different weapons. Only strikecraft have the same fire rate - 12 seconds for all fighters, and 13.5 seconds for all bombers.

The number that's listed in game is the damage per second of that particular craft.

If you hover over your credit income at the top, you will see how much money the trade stations contribute. Note that it may take a little time for the trade routes to be established.

Reduces damage by the listed %.

thats a very helpful link! what does it mean by the damage for front rear left and right? Why do some weapons have values for all four and others have values for just one? I am looking @ cap ships.

Capital ships may have weapons that fire in different banks. While they have 2 or 3 weapons 'officially', you may treat each different bank for each different weapon as a separate weapon(sharing the same cool-down rate).

Left weapons fire out of the left, Right weapons fire from the right, and Rear weapons fire from the back. It's as simple as that. Apart from capital ships, only the 3 flak frigates, the Advent's Illuminator, and the Vasari's Karrastra Destructor have multiple weaponry banks. Everything else has front-mounted weapons.
