Been hearing good things about Vasari race in 1-1 any guides for them?

I read in quite a few post about playing vasari in 1-1's and hear that they are pretty good. Is this true and are there any guides using them? Thanks.

P.S. what are the pros of using Vasari over TEC and Advent? Thanks...

Ive been experimenting with them compared to using TEC. Loving it so far. They require a more aggressive gameplay to fund your empire which is far more entertaining approach compared to my experience with advent/tec. Strong hulls, hitting harder, and being able to remotely repair your ships, and finally they can shoot through sheilds has been thoroughly enjoyed. Just takes a bloody long time to build your fleets.

small 1on1 maps tec will probably win, either with embargo rush or bigger fleet
on large (very large) maps, vasari has DA and will probably win against tec and advent IMO

your experience may differ
