Homeworld Lover Request

Alright everyone needless to say that I am a lover of HW1 and HW2, I never played Cataclysm though. I owned both but lost one to an idiot cousin and the other to age scratches. If anyone cold possible tell me how to get these games I would be soo thankful. Relic no longer makes HW1 and I can't find anywhere to download it!!! And Idon't want to buy HW2 again since I have the game laying helplessly on my desk. :( you have no idea how tragic it is to look at them and not be able to play. HELP!!!

Anyways, IF you have them as you say, then technically it'd be legal for you to download them. It would not, however, be legal to tell you where to acquire them. All I can say is "Don't be lazy" since they are all very easy to find on the internet. Use torrent search sites or use google. Not really that hard.

Last I checked, both games were available on Ebay for around 10 USD. Amazon might have them as well, though I didn't bother to do a search. Also, you might consider investing in a CD scratch repair kit. I've used several different types and they generally work surprisingly well. There are some scratches, of course, that are beyond repair, but it's amazing how bad a disc can appear and still be recoverable.

And while you're out looking for replacements, especially if you go to eBay or Amazon, try picking up Cataclysm. It's aged remarkably well and is really satisfying (slow start, but great finish).

EDIT: I realize that the last sentence is really sketchy considering we were talking about lovers a second ago. ;p
