same problem with mouse wheel

I am having the exact same problem. My mouse wheel will not scroll. I have the latest drivers for it. It is a Dell factory mouse (listed as a "HID compliant" mouse in the devise manager.) When I go to assign the scrolling to the mouse wheel in the in-game option there is no result. I am out of ideas. Am I stuck using keys?

You don't need to do that--scrolling should zoom by default with no special changes. The keybindings screen is only for setting keyboard hotkeys.

I have the same problem. I think it has to deal with your scroller. If it is clicky one , then it would not work. I have both a click mouse wheel and non click mouse wheel. The non click mouse wheel work while starting the game, while the click mouse wheel doesn't work when starting the game
