N00b Question: How do you mine where the planet is uninhabitable

There's probably an obvious answer, but I can't find it.  I've only played a couple games, so cut me some slack.. ;-)

Colony Frigates can capture mines in these sectors. Or if Vasari, the scout has the capture ability.

Right, new question: if your opponent captures one of these out from under your nose, then scuttles it... is there any way to get it back?

That is soo noobish! it is invulnerable, so you can't scuttle it.

Yup. Can't scuttle it. If it gets captured, just send your colony ship back and you can recapture.

Try again.

I just went in-game and did it. Blew the thing up, it made a nice explosion.

Parked a Vasari Jikara Navigator beside it, tried to use the capture ability (on the now-empty rock). No go.

Yes u can scuttle it, no way to get it back, it's a minor bug but one I enjoy :O
