Everyone disconnects with neverending migration

Twice now a couple of hours into a game, according to the network screen, everyone disconnects at once and it says "migrating" by my name so I assume the game's hosting is moving to my PC

1) I find it hard to believe everyone quit simultaneously.
2) I looks more like I disconnected but I have played a lot and this is twiceonly now.

Help?  Worst part after 2 hours in, I was totally winning with by far the largest fleet etc and was playing a 1/2 dead guy against my biggest and only competition....and this happens?  Very Frustrating.

When the host (the player who's computer is tasked with synchronizing everyone else's games) quits, the games being played on the other machines attempt to find another machine suitably configured (correct port-forwarding, etc.) "host" in order to continue the game. If a suitable host is found, the sync-data is migrated to said player.

Since many people are still unwilling/unable (those at universities, dorms, etc. are actually unable) to follow my instructions/guide on setting themselves up as a "suitable host", the "migrating" after a host-player quits tends to fail more often than it succeeds.

I wonder if the false error messages have anything to do with this. We know that sometimes people with error messages can host just fine; perhaps such machines are excluded from migration and this is the reason why it fails so often.

Migrating fails even if there are multiple potential hosts in the game. It's just bugged, but bug not acknowledged yet so i don't expect a fix in 1.03.

This I would believe because I host 1/2 the games I play so I would imagine I am suitable...yet the error happens.

Please acknowledge this bug as it's a terrible end after hours of play.

Every single game I have ever played has ended in "migrating". Sucks.
