players dieing immediately upon entering

Obviously I am new to mapmaking but so far the players die as soon as they enter any maps I make. What setting am I not clicking?

Put the maps in the Galaxy folder in your main Sins install directory, not the user Galaxy folder :)

when I put them in the main folder they do not even appear!! I know it has to be something super simple.

make sure the planets team ownership is set and they have home planet

he meant put the maps inside
"Drive:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxy\"
and not
Drive:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxy\

I know. When I put them in that folder when I open the game they do not appear on the map list.

Each player has to have a home planet. U have to assign that yourself.

I had done that. In one instance I had 4 home planets on the map all assigned to players with Home planet = TRUE also done and I even died when the map started.

So far the only way I have gotten a map to work is to take an already completed working map and modify it. That way it works and it shows up in the map list too!
