Hey everyone :) A member of our social gaming community made some new player portraits. Check out the link, and scroll down :) He made the Terran, Advent, Vasari, and Pirate.

Edit: You don't have to register to see the screenshots. I'll update this post with download links when everything is done.
Magnus is working on the victory & defeat screens now, and Kiana is modding the UI. She's not finished though. Probably once it's done we'll pack them up, and host it on an external link for you guys to download.

Scroll down, you can't see the first post with attachments (those are just screenshots). The new portraits are posted from Imageshack - you should be able to see them WITHOUT registering.

I won't ask you to go if it's inconvenient.

Has anyone been able to introduce new player icons? They're used more ingame than the portraits, but they're all a bit rubbish. I'd like to introduce some of my own.

Eh, they're O.K. I'd say different but not better (I honestly don't have a problem with portraits provided by Ironclad). Oh, and the pirate portrait looks like Bono.

My problem with the portraits is that I wish I could mix and match them separately, as there always seems to be one picture in a set that I just can't stand...

Still, the artist did a good job with those.

I really like those new portraits but I'm not going to register on a forum to download them. Good job though. Put them in the file library here. :D

I'll speak with Magnus to post a link here for everyone to download. Also, another member Kiana, she's modding the UI to have most parts translucent, and the metal bits softer. She's not finished though.

I think they look awesome. I don't like the portraits in the game either, the only set that I think is bearable is the one with the Terran commander they use on the website here.

Can't wait to get them in-game :)
