(Dire Help Please) Mod Folder

Not installing mod folder!

Hey, when i was reading how to install mods (which look great on this game) they keep telling me to put the mod folders into a mod folder which was supposed to be installed. It looks like it wasn't installed on my computer.

I'm not sure if its because I installed the game onto another drive of my computer that had more space (D: instead of C:) but I'm quite stuck.

Any assistance is appreciated!

If you're using vista, it's located in a hidden folder, so you'll have to enable those by first returning to classic folder mode, then Tools-->Folder Options, Click th View Tab then "show hidden files and folders"

after that it's C:\Users\[user_name]\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods

And be sure you've got 1.02, or the Mods folder won't be there.

I have the game, with the latest version, and am running XP, not vista, and still i cannot find this mods folder(if it was installed at all, which im pretty sure it wasn't).

Is it possible to manually make this folder, and if not, anyone have clever ideas how to get these mods installed properly?

Thank you for this assistance looking forward to further.

BTW, the Mods folder is hidden by the OS. You'll need to switch that off before you can find it.

Thank you for the help! I worked around with the folder settings and found it. A very appreciative gamer is on this side of the world! I look forward to trying the upcoming mods and the ones already delivered.

Thanks again everyone!
