Hi

I've stumbled upon this game in my search of next pc-fix, and I have been taken away by what I have seen of this game. But the problem remains, what should I do as a European user, or infact a Danish customer, if I want to get my grabs on this game?

The game hasn't been released in Europe ecxactly why I dont know. But I see you're able to buy and download the digital version, but I fear that the game wont work with my pc, as I've heard around that games bought in one country wont work on a computer in another country.

I would appreciate all the help you can give, as I really crave a game like Sins of a Solar Empire.

That is in fact almost never the case with computer games. So yes, you can buy it online just fine.

Because no European publishers wanted to, well, publish it in Europe, thinking that the German markets won't support a space-based RTS :o

Also in the Netherlands. The downloaded copy works just fine and the box arrived today. Just need to pick it up at the post office. Had to work really late today :(

Btw, customs added 16,10 euro to the game.

What idiot told you this?

Anyways, your probably thinking about consoll games.

A computer is a computer no matter where you are located. All computers use cd-rom/dvd-rom, and usually windows with direct-x. If you have this you can play all computer games.

If you are using some crappy shit like macintosh on the other hand, your usually screwed.

You can run Windows on a mac, so not even that would be a problem...

In the Netherlands as well, got myself the CE edition and the box arrived after a few days.
However, in my case customs did not add anything, I wonder why they did in your case.

Som du ser er jeg også fra Danmark ;) Købte spillet på nettet og det fungere bare fint fint - no problemo!!

I øvrig synes jeg det totalt hen i vejret at dette spil ikke lanceres i EU :(

1. I payed with PayPal. No problem
2. Received the "how to download" mail
3. Downloaded, installed, updated. Again no problem.
4. Having fun playing SoaSE
4. Waiting for the box to arrive. Takes about 21 days. I wait for 19 days so it should arrive soon.

BTW, i live in Hamburg.
