Hi all,

I had a question about how the Deploy Seige Missile Platform operates. 

It has never ever worked when it's been autocast.  It seems to actually fire at the planet about 33% of the time I cast it manually.  I generally click the icon then click directly on the planet I want to shoot.  The Desolator gets close tot he planet, and deploys the turrent, but most of the time it just sits there not shooting.  And when I press alt, I don't see a little red line showing that it's targeted the planet.  When it does work, i see this little red line, and then I also actually see the turrety firing at the planet.

I've had the best luck pulling the desolator into range of the planet myself, and deploying the turret while it's actually shooting the planet itself.  But this still fails, i'de say, most of the time.

Is there some trick to deploying this thing so that it actually shoots?

Also, when it does shoot, it seems to do very little damage.  Does any body know the stats on this thing?  Does it get fairly nasty as it levels up.  I think my expectation is that it would be a worht about 1.5 or 2 seige frigates at lvl 1, and get quite powerful at higher levels.

Just curious, because it seems pretty broken to me.
