Install Problems: Can't Read Files Off CD

Everytime i try to install the game i get this error "Error reading from file F:\data\OFFLINE\CA21F9C0\F56C52C\FrigatePhaseCarrier-da.dds"

and if i try to ignore i get the same error from every file after that.

I've tried a number of different things, i've tried just copying the CD and installing it, but it was unable to copy, I've tried turning off all my programs, I've tried uninstalling daemon tools, nothing works.

Is there anything I might do to remedy this problem?

If you have a good broadband connexion, you could use the serial id/cd Key to download and install the whole game with Stardock Central.

Sounds like you have a bad disc. If you can, return it to your place of purchase for a replacement; otherwise you can use your serial to download the full version of the game as Peace Phoenix suggested.

Would it be possible to return the CD to Stardock by mail, the place I purchased it is located 6 hours away from where I live, and thats the closest store like it.

Also, how would I go about downloading it with the serial off of stardock central?

If you know how to use bittorrent get the game from there then register your CD-Key when u create an Ironclad Online account! This is where i downloaded it before i even got to pick up the game 'cause i was so excited to get it running online as soon as i got the cd key from retail.

Umm, it is faster and quite a bit more legal to download it from SDCentral.
