Galaxy forge not compatible with 1.03?

When I create a map in Galaxy Forge and put it into the Galaxy folder, it doesn't show up in game. It used to, in 1.02, and maps that worked in 1.02 don't show up anymore. Is this version related?

open the galaxy file with a text editor and change versionnumber 0 to versionnumber 1

Cool, thanks. Next problem: after doing that, the map goes straight to a defeat screen, and if I click "continue playing" there, I see that the entire galaxy is empty. Did the .galaxy file format change? That would surprise me.

I got the same thing when I tried putting my Galaxy files into the galaxy folder in the MOD directory, once I moved them to the galaxy folder in the GAME directory, they worked just fine.

I have the same problem (OPs problem), except I made my map with the latest galaxyforge, wich I am guessing works with 1.03 since the versionnumber was already 1 on the .galaxy file), the map is also in /sins of a solar empire/galaxy folder. Yet I can not find it in the single player -> New game.

Edit: nevermind.. Seems I opened the wrong map in notepad.

I opened my .galaxy file in Program Files->SoaSE->Galaxy. It went to an immediate defeat screen... any ideas or help would be appreciated.

make sure that your "version number" is set to "1" in the text file, as galaxy forge will make it "0" if the file was made with a previous version of GF and then re-saved with the newer one.
