Consider This

Stardock Developers and fellow posters,

First I'd like to thank and congradulate on you on a great game in both concept & exicution.

Sins has an excellent interface & a very cool atmosphere.

However, there does seem to be a problem with both game "balance" and your attempts to "fix it".

I feel for you.

That being said, perhaps you should stop trying to fix everyones complaints and let the game be played more before you try to appease everyone.

you seem to be pumping out updates too quickly, please slow down.

The black market, Siege frigates and other diverse elements keep getting watered down.

Sadly most of these changes are to the benifit of single player gamers.

The easiest way to adjust the same to accomidate single gameplay is to update the AI not the games mechanics.

I appreciate enhancements to the games interface & AI, but nobody wants to see radical modifications to core gameplay elements.

That being said, I would like for you (developers & posters) to consider & give your opinions on the following.

Note I'm not looking for imediate changes, but discussion on these points merrits.

When giving responses please state your preferences on game type (single player, small multi, medium multi or large multi)

Starting Resources, Siege Frigates, Black Market, Returning Armarda, Super Cannons, questionable researches, AI, interface and any points you think I may have missed.

Together we could help to bring about a Version (1.04) we could all be happy with (for the most part) after a few months of discussion.

Thanx.

Its fine since the duplicates got deleted, just remember for future reference to be more patient. Lately the sins forums have had significant stalls, so sometimes after you click submit it can take a while.

And your right, the real problem with the game lies in fixing the AI. That's what I've been saying on these forums since day one. Then Ironclad/Stardock claimed it would fix the AI in the 1.03 patch, and that made me happy until they actually released the patch (claiming it provided "vastly improved AI") and I found the changes they made were minimal at best in regards to the AI and rather focused on nerfing siege frigates and the black market, things that really weren't a priority in my opinion.

I want to look forward to 1.04, which they claim is the patch which will provide the real changes, but since they have lied or greatly exaggerated about other things, I'm not getting my hopes too high.
