Ok LRM Spam.  You win for now, but Advent will continue to figure out ways to try to stop you.  Back to the drawing board for Advent.

good job Huntingx

By the way, I've been clobbering you guys for the past few nights under a SMURF name.

Funny stuff...

you're a total idiot. you're blatantly making things up at this point because you've lost all credibility.

"i can't explain how i do it."

"i have a secret weapon i don't want you to know about."

"i use a false identity so you don't know that its really me when i succeed."

these are the most tired bullshit excuses used by con-men, liars, and people in denial of the truth.

why didn't you just, a long time ago, admit that you hadn't been aware of the damage/armor type chart in the game? you were clearly ignorant of the fact that LRM's deal double damage to Light Frigates. its fine to be ignorant of something if you come to learn the truth in the end. what's not fine is to be a deluded liar, which is what you are at this point.

Some of these tests aren't done very well. Sending an equal number in cost and supply of LRMs and Disciples against each other is ignoring a big factors, time, research, and capital ships. Mostly time, arguably the most important resource.

Make no mistake about it, an equal number of LRMs will defeat a Disciple fleet. The trick is to immediately start producing the Disciples as soon as the game begins. The TEC player must wait until he creates a military lab, but will lack the crystal to keep up with your Disciple fleet. An LRM requires more credits, metal, and crystal than the Disciple does. Advent can even sell their crystal to purchase more resources to buy even more Disciples. TEC just can't keep up. This Disciple Spam technique will neutralize the TEC player for the first hour of the game.

It's sheer numbers. SPAM vs SPAM. Disciples win.

Liar about what? I do have a secret weapon, well it's actually a secret tactic which gives me a huge jump start at the beginning of the game, but I can't disclose it. I'll disclose it maybe in 6 months.

I'll give you a hint though. It deals with the keyboard configuration.

I don't want people using it against me! It's too good.

Oh my goodness. Kruelgor, go back to Halo. Assuming the MAGOG clan has other members, I can't believe they can stand an embarrassment like you.

edit: LOL you're the lead MAGOG guy? Well that explains why you haven't been laughed off the team, now I just wonder why anyone would want to join.

Oh and I have a secret keyboard trick too. I type /ignore and don't have to see this nonsense in IRC as well. Gives me a huge advantage against anyone that listens to you, not that anyone would really need one.

Just curious as to why you would list "Counter-Strike: Source" and "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" In your forums along with your RTS games then?

Perhaps all of us sensible people should let this thread die and this troll will go bother another forum.

That was at the request of [MAGOG]Striker because he likes to play them. Unofficially, sure, but officially no.

So [MAGOG]Kruelgor, you keep dodging the 1v1 I'm asking you.

Random map, all settings fast, normal fleet size, no pirates.

If you're so confident in your ability, you wouldn't even be playing an alternate account. But then again, you also wouldn't be avoiding me.

Man, I would think twice before challenging him. He's got a super secret tactic, you know.

Hey Jinx. I saw your message in the game when I got back on my computer last night. You were offline at that point. I added you to my friend's list last night in the hopes I will run into you again.

Well, funny story:

Astax found Kruelg trolling for newbs to show off his "strat," so he contacted me for a prison rape session.

Of course, when I join, first Kruelg insists that people were minidumping him, and that I may do the same.

In response, I say he might be the one doing it. Naturally, he says: "you have no class, we're not playing."

I create another smurf account, try to join, and get kicked for being a "smurf."

I try again with another one of my accounts, which is unfortunately named eZ.Hunting. Krueg is too clever for that!

Anyway, long story short, 3 dodges in a row, what a sad sad existence he must lead.

I'm still waiting on the promised asspounding session.

You can minidump people?

Well, I tricked him!

I played under Frogboyfan (with 0-2 record from surrendering to computers).

Here's the replay for your viewing pleasure.

BTW, I didn't go a counter build. I just scouted him, saw his build, and killed him.

Baaaad map too, horrible starting position for me (ice and plasma, no asteroid within 1 jump).

http://rapidshare.com/files/101639938/vs_Kruelger.record.html

Brief summary for those who are too lazy to d/l and watch at 8x speed.

I try to scout him early, but my scouts are blocked off by a pirate base and a heavily defended terran planet.

I had to create more scouts before 1 finally got into his system with reasonable hp/shields and could jump back and forth between systems.

Since I saw he was passive, I went massive trade ports, gaining a huge amount of credit income advantage.

Following that, I leveraged my income into a massive fleet of LRMs, with superior micro crushing his army taking almost no losses, and taking out his mothership in the process.

I don't really play Tec (my first game in a long time with the race), but I think it's enough to show that his strategy is easily counterable.

yes. good.

You proved a larger LRM fleet can defeat a smaller disciple fleet.

good job
Wait... hold on....

Somehow, I had a LARGER LRM fleet, than your disciple fleet.

How does THAT make sense?

but didn't you claim you would have a numerically superior fleet because of the nonstop disciple building you were doing?

you said it best yourself:

"he trick is to immediately start producing the Disciples as soon as the game begins. looks like the tec player did keep up, eh?
