When is one concidered good?

Pretty straight forward.

New to Sins,

I love 4x, but it took my awhile to get the hang of the original Pax Imperia, and Gal Civ 2 was "pretty tough" on normal for awhile.
Pretty nice that I beat the AI on normal without any loses yet, and I'm moving up the ladder.

But when are you concidered a good or descent player?

Sure, beating "unfair" makes you "godly" but a Solid Descent player?

End of quote

It depends. Who exactly are you trying to impress?

People are going to decide whether they think you're a good player based on what you say around here (or do in a game with other people). There's no set standard.

If your talking about single player I would say good is beating a locked team of all three races vs your race on hard. This is not as hard as it might at first seem.

Your only 'godly' in single player if you have beaten the challenge that is 9 team locked opponents on unfair!

In multi-player well there is always going to be someone better than you unless you make the game your job.

Well in single player you are as good as you think you are, there is no audience and nobody in the multi-player community is going to recognize you as good for beating AI.

With regard to the 'good' multi-player players we destroy the AI. Myself, i can beat 2 unfair ai with relative ease. So if you are thinking that makes us godly then.... you decide.
