Introduction
A v1.03 fully compatible mod for SoaSE that increases the role of fighters and bombers in the game besides being pretty to watch. Based off the idea that two or three anti-ship missiles can absolutely destroy a large Nimitz-class supercarrier.
Description
If I scared you away by saying only two missiles can destroy a carrier, I'm sorry. But, the strike craft in-game are just too weak to play a part in planetary defense or in interstellar battle. Because of the weakness, I have vamped up the power of both fighters and bombers, increased the number of craft per squadron, increased the hull hitpoints, increased shield hitpoints, increased armor points, faster reload time, increased the holding capacity of hangar defenses and carriers (both capital ships and carrier cruisers), increased the maximum antimatter and regeneration of hangar defenses and carriers, and finally added some final tweaks and adjustments to other ships to accommodate for the increased power of strike craft.
Brief synopsis of changes the mod made:
Note that due to an increased number of rendered objects, closely observing your fleet of 10 or so fighters and bombers will increase workload on your computer. Basically, this mod can decrease framerate.
Fully written changes to original ref files soon.
Install by taking the "Squadron Booster v1 folder" into:

- Increased hull, shield, and armor of fighters and bombers
- Increased squadron size
- Increased damage
- Decreased reload time
- Increased antimatter for all carriers and hangar defenses
- Increased antimatter regen for all carriers and hangar defenses
- Antifighter frigates are two times more powerful against strike craft
