As in unlimited credits, metal, and crystal.

You can add as many resources as you want using the galaxy forge map editor.
Each player can be edited, credits, metal and crystal.
There is another way but I don't want to spoil the game for everyone by telling what the cheat method is...

Fine. Its not possible to have 'Infinite' resources. You can mod in ridiculous amounts of everything, by editing various files. Planet files for the Asteroids, and you could add planetary underdevelopment tax, so it would increase, rather than decrease you income.

He's right. Asteroids don't even run out... trade continues infinitely.

And if you just want to start with a huge amount of resources, you can mod some files.

But I am not a expert modder. Every time I try to mod it doesn't work, and it's a waste of time for me. I just want lots of resources so I can enjoy the game a bit more....

Seems you like faster games more than slower games.
Although you can edit planet files, or even edit the orbital resource diggers so they pump out like 100 crystal per second... you could also try editing the trade ports so their trade efficiency is so high that it makes 200 credits per second.

I even believe that there are already mods that do this exploit...

No stop assuming. I love this game and its pace, but sometimes I like to take a break from that and get right to the battle.
If they're mods already give me the link which is what I been asking for since post 1.

Not being funny, but all the time you have wasted with this thread could have been used searching yourself. There is a decent Search function on this forum, connected to Google, there is also a 'Downloads' section.

And if you are going to say you have searched high and low, in and out of the Downloads section, then there is an extremely good chance there isn't one. Answer; Download the Modding tutorials, also available in the Downloads section, and get into it.

I did search. Found nothing but mods that had so much work into them. I thought there be millions of these mods(these meaning unlimited credits).

I don't want to get into modding! The only thing I'm good at is getting a mod into a game. Making them is like me giving a caveman a chemistry test and saying "Hey finish this in 30 minutes." I just can't do it. 50% of time it doesn't work, other 50% the game fails to load then I have to use the backup files. I try again still it fails. So I go to a website and ask for some help sure enough someone gives a mod I was trying to create, I thank him or her.

Why can't someone do that here? I'm sure a lot of people with this game would like to see this simple mod.

It's quite easy to modify the planets and asteroids so that you get 500 metal/crystal per second from an asteroid and 100 credits per unit of population on planets. the one problem with this is that the AI would get the benefits as well.

If you can't follow a basic tutorial provided by the devs, and you have that attitude towards learning, then quite frankly I you are beyond my patience. I've given you as much as I can without making it myself. And please stop using the phase 'Unlimited Credits'. I've told you there is no such thing. As asianmaster pointed out, everything is 'infinite' but the rate at which you collect it isn't. You would just need to increase a couple of digits in a few files and you would have your mod.

Here is the downlods section. Download the Beta Mod Tools which include a basic tutorial to get going. To mod the latest version of Sins, you will need to use the Reference Data for 1.03. And if you would like more tutorials from the devs, you can find them here.

Good luck and Godspeed, I hope you can muster the willingness to learn and try something yourself.

My method for getting virtually unlimited method is:

(note cheat below)

open your galaxy files

Change starting credits to 999999999 (9x9's)

change starting metal to 999999999 (9x9's)

change starting crystal to 999999999 (9x9's)

So even if you are going to research max, and build a max fleet you will still have quite an amount of resources, more than you can even sell.

(removed "cheat" from quote since i dont know how to white-bar it)

I managed to do what you said, I even tried doing it on the "players" section in the edit drop menu, saved it to galaxy forge maps, didnt work, then tried saving it into map editor maps, didnt work, well, when I say it didnt work, I mean that when i go to play the game, it comes up with the defeat page, checked the relations tab in-game and everyone was "dead" so to speak, and there was no planets, anywhere, can you help me?

P.S: send me a private message, I dont check these forums much since i like to try these things out myself, I managed to do it with one map, but I deleted it cause I got bored of the same layout over and over each time, but now I forgot the method so thats why im here.

You would need to do it for each and every player.
