Finding the "Free first capital ship" and editing it

I want to make your first capital ship, your "flagship" more powerful then the normal Capital ship. I can edit the ship itself, but then all the ships built are super strong, then I could make so you could only build one, but that means you cant build a fleet. If its possible how would I do it?

P.S I havent modded much, but I still know what im doing

short answer is NO, sorry. if you try it every ship of that class is edited.

Yeah, the 'first free capital ship' is a map setting anyway. If you're feeling mean, it's possible to make it so the first capship isn't free.

Also, there's no real need to make the first capship stronger, IMO. You can make it plenty stronger via combat training against militias.
