Insta-win

Insta-win

Ok, i set the game up for 2 ppl on a huge map, fast research, slow speed, and locked teams. I put my enemy in like the 9th spot on the enemy selection list. When i start the game it brings up the page saying i won and would i like to continue. So my question is: Why is it saying i insta-win when i didnt even start playing? Am i setting it up wrong or does the enemy have to be in the same system as me? Any help would appreciated.

Did you put the map into the Sins install Galaxy folder, or the user path Galaxy folder?

It needs to be in the main Sins folder to work properly, not user :)

Did you put the enemy on the same team as you?

But which Galaxy folder? Where you installed Sins, or in the Local/AppData path where all the saves, screenshots, etc are?

I right clicked start, went to explore, went down to the sins folder, went to galaxy and it was there. Is that the wrong one?

The folder where you installed the game, right? That's the right one.. so, next question :P Are you running any mods that weren't updated to 1.03?

I'm not sure what to tell you.. the only two ways to get an insta-win that I know of is either an outdated mod or a custom map in the wrong folder.

I re-read your OP and it sounds like you didn't actually make a custom map to begin with..

Try updating to 1.03 and see?

i've only seen insta-win when you start allied to the all the opponents, not including AI(they surrender if not allied to a human), but that's when playing through multiplayer/ICO.

you on or off line?

Sounds like a a glitch related to an unpatched version, honestly.
