Starting build order

Hello,

I played about a game with each race, and I'm the kind of person who likes to get myself the best start possible.  And I'm wondering what's the start build order that everyone think is best?

I tried a few things, but I think the best thing to do at the start of the game is to build 1 crystal mine, 2 metal mine, and do the planet upgrade to increase population, and build 3 scounts.  When the crystal mine gets completed, I then buy 100 crystal and build a cap ship factory.

Any suggestions or have other initial build order?

TEC:

1 scout
1 Cap ship factory - colonizer cap ship
5 basic frigates
1 crsytal extractor
2 metal extractors

Find the nearest asteroid and colonize/upgrade to level 4 infrastructure for home planet.

Then from there on, it usually depends on the map. On smaller maps, I try to get a decent econonmy going, but at the same time get lrms going fast. On bigger maps, I usually spend a lot more time on economy.

When I get a credit income of 25/s, I start building kodiaks and getting research for them...

If you want to start with a non colony capital ship, I suggest you build 1 or two colonizer ships first thing. This will give them time to charge up their antimatter. By the time you free up your first system up for capture, the colony ship will have enough antimatter to both jump and capture the planet in one go.

1) build all available HW mines
2) cap ship fact
3) queue colony cap
4) upgrade planet infrastructure
5) queue 3 scouts
6) start churning out light frigs

I posted mine, but decided to delete it. It's just too good to share. sorry, but I would hate for my own start-strategy to be used against me. It's a horrifyingly super fast method to colonize and gobble up way more planets than your opponent (while keeping the #1 fleet size).

Even a game replay cannot show the details to my method. Join my clan and I'll tell you though. www.magogclan.com just click on Join Our Clan.
