Mods crash the game

I can't get any of the mods I've installed to work. When I click "enable mod" the game crashes before I can do anything else. Has this happened to anyone else, and how do I fix it?

I have the same problem. When i click enable, the hangs up. Have tried only sins plus.

Which mods have you tried?
Which version of the game are you running?
The mods you are using, are they your version compatible?
Have you edited any game files in the mods?
Have you edited any game files in the main directory?
Have you installed them correctly? (Screenshot with address bar visible please)

Edit: Ancient, which version of Sins Plus are you using?

I have tried Sins Plus and Bailknights Graphics.
Before I tried to install either, I upgraded to 1.03.

The game will hang for about 5-25 seconds depending on the mod your enabling. In addition you would have to make sure you have compatible mods.
