Welcome to 7 Deadly Sins 2.5 FINAL for the latest version of Sins Entrenchment 1.053.
7DS can only be played at HIGH maximum settings. DO NOT USE VERY HIGH settings. This will cause a minidump. Also, there is an issue with Win7 64 bit. You will get crashes, load errors, or the game will not even play, with or without warning. Just keep reloading the game and trying until you actually get into the game and play. This is a Windows problem, not a problem with Sins or 7DS.

The ultimate combo mod, the "unoffical" expansion of Sins of a Solar Empire, or so it has been dubbed by the mod community.

Mobile Starbases -all races possess starbases that can move about the gravity well to interdict enemy forces -assault carefully.

 

12 Playable Races with their own traits that make them more unique, from being a total offensive race, to a highly researching race. Each race now has its own unique tactics of gameplay.

Trader Emergency Coalition- solely based on trade and swarming, with little military might
Corpo-Nations that have rebelled against the Trade Order. Their military might stripped, they have turned to allying themselves with various factions and hiring mercs for protection.
TEC has new Battlecruisers, mercenary contracts, and EMP shells that bypass shields to a small degree.
Trade Coalition Armada- the military arm of the Trade Order
Once the development arm of the Trade Order, they are now the last hope for the Trade Order and humanity. Their ships are bricks with extreme range railguns.

TCA has state of the art weapons on traditional capitalships plus the Dresden and Athena Dreadnought and Beta Kol Titan.
The Orion Unity- modified Orion and Advent Combine
Some Orion split with the Atlantian-Orion Combine to guide the Advent towards their ultimate evolutionary stage. TOU ships are stronger, faster and deadlier; They can even travel between worlds using the Phase Stabilizer technology of the Tempest Titan.
Ship research boosts weapon performance.

DARK FLEET- modified Vasari
The Dark Fleet is all that remains of the Vasari. Where the weak Exodus ran often and fought rarely, the Dark Fleet seeks total dominion through force of arms. Their 5 Titan ships roam looking for prey.
Play style is familiar with greater armor, firepower and destructive potential.

Imperial Armada- from Star Wars
Guided by a clone of General Thrawn, the wasteland armadas of the Imperial Armada can employ powerful Force Alchemical Technology and even unleash the power of the Executor Super Star Destroyer.
Can unlock Jedi and/or Sith Holocrons for performance boost to defenses or offenses respectively -and at the expense of the other.

Rogue Cadre- Playable, custom pirates
Rob, pilfer, and steal your way to greatness. The Rogue Cadre is a melting pot of human cultures, Advent refugees and what remains of the Vasari. They have gathered against the TCA, TOU, Atlantian-Orion Combine and TOC to free humanity from tyranny, mysticism and slavery.
Posess the Precursor Titan and The Machine -the latter capable of capturing capitalships

Arilou Vanguard- UFO race from the Star Control Games
Not being of this dimension, the Arilou do not rely on money and normal means of transport or construction. They simply spawn ships from their "motherships", and travel through Quasispace, which propels them at near instant speeds from planet to planet.

Ur-quan KohrAh Third Doctrinal Fleet- Death race from the Star Control games
Totally aggressive, the Korh-Ah are built for battle. They are all offense, and barely any defense. They focus on exterminating every race and every planet they find, and almost every ship is capable of boming from orbit. Their goal is to "cleanse" the universe of all other sentient life, anything that is not an Ur-Quan.

Ur-Quan KzerZa Third Doctrinal Fleet- Slaving race from the Star Control games
Unlike their Kor-Ah cousins, the Kzer-Za believe in a diplomatic approach, let alone old habits of enslaving entire races into their Hierarchy. They have grown from their 10,000 year old ways, and are more good than bad now.

Atlantian-Orion Combine- the ultimate race, the seeders of life (the gods)
The Combine are part of the original Creator Alliance and responsible for seeding galaxies with genetic data. The Orion are the protectors and defenders until the Atlantian vessels can be fielded. Their greatest strength is their technology, but the loss of labs remove bonuses gained from research.

Taalo Horde- Ancient Rock race, from the Star Control games
As if the universe itself groaned for a protector, the Taalo have awakened from a million year slumber only to find old allies -the Atlantians and Arilou stripping the galaxy of semi-sentient flo-metal. They are the ultimate enviromental defender with a naive sense of justice. They have incorporated alien technology into their asteroid bodies with great results.

Triad of Creation- Ancient Destroyers of Worlds, Galactic Enslavers
The Triad of Creation, the Dnyarri, Antaran and Lapis, seek to eradicate all life in the universe. They nearly destroyed the Atlantian-Orion Combine in the Ori galaxy by turning their creation -the Vasari- against them. They emerged from within the Rogue Cadre taking a sizeable portion of their population into slavery. Their fleets struck the Taalo and Dark Fleet with vessels designed for infiltration nearly crippling the two factions.

"7 Deadly Sins" may rip zippers causing damage to small children, pets, lamps, monitors, eyes, anything at chest level between 2 and 6 feet distant, has been known to make you want a better computer, job, girlfriend, family, and 3L Mountain Dew bottles.  If you experience any of these conditions for longer than 4 hours, keep playing; it's only going to get better.

Version 2.0 is for 1.05 ONLY, it and it's predecessors will ONLY  work with 1.05.  Version 2.5 is planned to be for 1.13 or whatever they're on by then.  If you try to load the mod with anything BUT 1.05, you will crash.

Hello everybody,

 

I'm having serious issues with this modification package.

 

Yesterday I downloaded the package and the 7zip.exe file as well. After I was finished with the 3.d file, I extracted all of the files into its directories. Whenever the computer asked if I wanted to replace the original files with the files into the package, I said "Yes to all" thinking that otherwise the package would not work.

 

However, when extraction was finished I tried to start the game to see if the package was running smoothly. When the game tried to load, it froze up on me, leaving me to manually restart my computer and do a fresh re-install of SINS. What irritates me now is that game still freezes upon starting, even without the package being installed. I don't know if I ever patched the game and it has always been running perfect on my computer being I touched the package.

 

Any ideas?

btw, what did you download, to where did you unzip it (Thou shall not install to the main installation folder of SINS, but to thy MOD folder), and what version of SINS 1.05 are you running that it is not compatible with 7 Deadly Sins 1.3d or some beta version of 7 Deadly Sins 2.0?  The key I guess I'm getting at is that you really do need SINS 1.05 to run this mod until we tell you it's compatible with something other than SINS 1.05.

I do not remember which version I'm running. I remember vaguely updating to 1.05, but I'm not sure. I extracted all of the files to their corresponding directories in c:/Program Files/Stardock Games/ What was in the mesh file in the zip package, I extracted to the mesh directory in the Stardock Games files and so on...

 

*UPDATE*

Did another re-install after removing all files from the C: disk. The game works again and I've patched it to V1.05. However, I cannot find any Mod file in the SINS directories to place the mod package in. I've searched the whole compter, nothing...

Right now, 7ds, is for v1.04

Soon 7ds v2.0 will be out which is for soase v1,05

The basic races are identical... some race like the Dark, The TCA, The Unity use same ship mesh that original sins but the entity file are different... these 3 new race are like original one on steroid...

 

1.3d is a old version, almost one year... the version comming soon have a lot of custom model... and we are already working on new model for the next version...

They are called moon... Ice, Volcanic,  and Terran world can have moon !!!

You will have more planet type, more planet bonus and more races... don't remember the number of race for 1.3d...

 

For the coming 7DS 2.0, take a look there for more info about the faction... for now, only the rogues page is "fully" finish... but some other race have a interesting story line... more work on these wiki will be made once the 7DS 2.0 is officially released...

To make maps for 7DS 2.0, I recommend Galaxy Forge 1.0 using the GalaxyScenarioDef file that will be included with 7DS 2.0 for massive customizability of your maps with easy fleet/structure deployment, 4 racial militias, heavy patrols, and heavily colonized militia strongholds.

Had a go with the Mod yesterday. I picked the rogue race and I really liked the pirate ships. However, there weren't any ships with the "Colonize" feature available, leaving me only with my home planet. The descriptions of some ships could be better, and most of them are pretty much the same, even though it say "basic, average, advanced" and whatnot.

Will give the other races a go later today :)
