MINI-DUMP DEAD END HELP PLEASE

I just recently purchased Sins of a Solar Empire. I installed it and it worked fine. I was in the middle of a game when I paused it and left. When I came back the game screen was gone. Everytime I try to run the game a message comes up saying

                                                                 Saved MiniDump:

     C:/Ducume~1/ALLENT~1/LOCALS~1/TEMP/Sins Dump/sins-v1.00-2008-04-01-19-52-29-5980-584.dmp

I tried to send stardocks an email but they say it was not read because of a certain list of things and on ironclad when i try to message them the messenger doesnt work so I am at a dead end. If anyone knows a solution or maybe a number I could call I would appreciate it enormously

I tried re-installing and looking for this "mini-dump" but I still cant get the game to run withouth this popping up and a message saying that the game has reached a problem and needs to close down.

                                  Any help?

                                        Thanks.

Where were you sending it to? Minidumps need to go to [email protected]. They'll check it out and let you know if there's anything you can do on your machine to fix it.

Need more info from ya.

If you're using a nVidia based graphics card, download their latest beta drivers (174.74 I believe).

Previous versions have something going on that at almost random times during the game you'll get a minidump error.

I rarely get the mini-dump error, but noticed I ONLY get it when:

1. I minimize the game and then maximize it.

2. Have XFIRE instant messenger running in the background.

3. I am playing against people with very good records and they are losing. Could be a hack they do. People on pc Madden Football use to do the same thing. It was a wide-spread problem.
