Cant load maps made in Galaxey Forge

so i created a map in the Galaxey Forge, saved it to the Install Dir like the FAQ said, but when i go to load it in game, i cant find it. if i put it in the Local Dir, i can see it in game, but it is insta-defeat, any idea as to what i am doing wrong here?

i have tried loading a pre-made Sins map into GF, then saving it back into the same C:/Programfiles/stardockgames/sinsofasolarempire/galaxey and it wont show up on the custom map list at all.

Open up the galaxy file and change versionnumber to 1 at the top.
